Our Approach · How Front Street Thinks
Our approach begins
with the site.
Every Front Street project starts with understanding what a property can become — and what it should become.

01 / Site-First Development
We let the
site lead.
Good infill development cannot be forced. Each property presents its own set of opportunities and constraints — lot size, access, orientation, surrounding architecture, parking, walkability, and neighborhood character.
Our process begins with understanding these fundamentals. From there, we develop a concept that fits both the site and the market.
02 / Design
Architecture that
belongs — and still
stands out.
Front Street projects are designed to respond to their surroundings without blending into the background.
Some sites call for modern architecture. Others require a more traditional or historically sensitive approach. Our goal is to create homes with presence, proportion, and character — homes that feel appropriate to their setting while offering something more.
03 / Development Discipline
Selective by design.
We pursue a limited number of projects at a time, focusing on opportunities where the fundamentals are strong — location, demand, design potential, feasibility, and long-term value.
This discipline allows us to remain focused, responsive, and committed to execution. We are not driven by volume. We are driven by the quality of what we build.
04 / Community
Development that
adds to the
neighborhood.
Infill development has the ability to strengthen neighborhoods when it is done thoughtfully.
Our projects aim to add housing while respecting scale, improving the streetscape, and contributing to the long-term character of the area. We approach each site with an understanding that what we build will become part of the neighborhood for years to come.
